Scenario 3: Maker, Hobbyist, or First-Time Owner
You want a laser for personal projects, small gifts, maybe a side business later. Budget matters, and you can live with slower speeds.
Honestly? The 10W is enough. I get pushback on this because the internet says "you'll upgrade later." Maybe you will. But there are plenty of owners who buy the 20W and never use half of its capacity. (Note to self: stop over-specing things.)
That said, if the gap between the 10W and 20W is one busy weekend of freelance work, stretch for the 20W.
